Self-control is a crucial ability to manage thoughts, feelings, and actions to align with long-term norms and goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and problem-solving skills among students at State Vocational High School 11 Medan. The research method used was a survey with a questionnaire as the data collection instrument, which was distributed to all students at State Vocational High School 11 Medan. The results showed that 100% of respondents stated "agree" to every item on the self-control and problem-solving skills questionnaire. This finding suggests that students at State Vocational High School 11 Medan collectively perceive themselves to have a very optimal level of self-control and high confidence in their problem-solving abilities. However, this absolute consistency of responses requires careful interpretation, given the potential for questionnaire response bias (such as social desirability bias) and the limitations of the measurement instrument. If these results reflect the true situation, they indicate that the vocational education environment has successfully shaped students' character to be independent, disciplined, and able to overcome challenges. The implication for schools is to strengthen these students' potential through challenging programs, optimize learning environments that support independence, and continue developing specific areas of self-control and problem-solving.
