The purpose of this study is to analyze the growth and development of motion learning of children aged 0 to 12 years old using a qualitative approach through observation and interviews. The research subjects consisted of 20 children aged 0-12 years who were observed based on their motor, psychological, and physical developmental stages. The results showed that motor development, both gross and fine, occurs gradually and is influenced by age, stimulation from the environment, and support from parents. Children aged 0-2 years are in the basic movement exploration stage, children aged 3-6 years show improvement in coordination, while children aged 7-12 years show mastery of more complex movements. The study also compared the data with another group that focused on 11-12 year olds, finding that the transition to adolescence is characterized by significant changes in physical, social, and emotional aspects. This finding is in line with the motor development theory proposed by Gallahue and Ozmun (2006) and the child development theory presented by Papalia et al. (2009).
