Analisis Efektivitas Perkembangan Gerak Pada Sikap Pasang dalam Keterampilan Dasar Silat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of movement in the pasang stance in basic pencak silat skills. Pasang stance is a very important basic position in pencak silat because it is the initial foundation for various advanced techniques such as attacks, blocks, and evasions. Good movement quality in pasang stance will affect the effectiveness and efficiency of subsequent movements. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an observation and video analysis approach to a number of beginner and advanced martial artists. The results of the study showed that the difference in movement quality between beginner and advanced martial artists was seen in the stability of posture, coordination of body parts, and understanding of the basic principles of pasang stance. These findings provide important input for coaches in developing training programs that focus on improving basic techniques.
