PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN KELAS 1 SD NEGERI 6 ONANRUNGGU

The study aims of determine the effect of the picture and picture learning model on the beginning reading skills of first grade students at SD Negeri 6 Onanrunggu in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a One Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The population in this study consisted of all first grade students at SD Negeri 6 Onanrunggu, totaling 30 students. The sample used in this research involved documentation and reading test, ang hypothesis testing using the Piared Smaple t Test. The result of the study showed that the picture and picture learning model significantly influenced the improvement of beginning reading results, whisvh showed a significance value of 0,000 indicating that 0,000 < 0,05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, leading to the conclusion that the picture and picture model can enhance the beginning reading skills of first grade students at SD Negeri 6 Onanrunggu.
