PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) BERBANTUAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS IV SDN 101777 SAENTIS

This study aims to determine the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) learning model assisted by interactive learning media on improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 101777 Saentis. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which applied the GI model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) interactive media, and the control class, which used conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through critical thinking skills tests. Data analysis used the independent sample t-test statistical method. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental class was 24.62, which increased significantly to an average posttest score of 85.37. The pretest and posttest average scores of the experimental class increased by 60.75. The average pretest score of the control class was 21.87, which increased to an average posttest score of 49.25. The pretest and posttest average scores of the control class increased by 27.38. The higher posttest scores in the experimental class compared to the control class indicate that the implementation of the GI model assisted by AR interactive media positively influences students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, this learning model is recommended as an alternative learning strategy to enhance students' critical thinking skills.
